I’m Kayla. Millennial. T1D. Bass clarinet player in my local Symphony. We’re all just weirdos here for a good time, not a long time.
I’ve done every flavor of sales and marketing you can think of — door-to-door, cold call sales, car sales, festival booths, flyers, social media... you name it. I’ve marketed course creators, community builders, spiritualists, local mobile tool trucks, massage therapists, tour businesses, and yes — even the adult content and lead gen space. If it’s weird and personable, I’ve either marketed it or built some kind of back-end workflow strategy to make it work. That’s literally how Weird Business Consulting was born.
But my favorite thing — always — was landing pages and websites. I’ve worked inside Square, Wix, GoDaddy, Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, Beacons, Linktree, Stan Store, and more. And no matter the platform, no matter the industry, every single one of my clients struggled with the same thing: their back-end hub. And that always starts with your website.
Here’s how I see it: your website is your business house — but online. It’s where people find you, your social handles, exactly who you are and what you offer. Your content and social media only exist to drive people to your link, which should lead straight to your website. No matter what kind of weird stuff you’re offering (respectfully, of course — let’s not get ahead of ourselves...) — you need the house that holds it all.
That’s when it clicked: a website is just a giant workflow connection spelled out in crazy gibberish code — that you can tweak however you want. So I learned it. And I built Pimp My Website. Because the struggle was always real, and AI finally made the fix fast enough to actually matter.
Now look — we get it. AI is scary. Even we get a little spooked sometimes, and we literally named our business “Weird.” But it’s here, it’s not going anywhere, and we’re here to show small businesses that weird doesn’t have to mean scary — it can mean powerful. The kind of powerful that used to cost $5k and now fits inside a small business budget.
The first client I showed this to runs a local tour company here in Coeur d’Alene. Their old WordPress site had been hacked, broken on mobile, and invisible in search. The rebuild took less than a day. The client reviewed it, gave edits and revisions, and we shipped it in one week. The old agency quoted $5,000 to do the same thing.
Wave 1 pricing won’t last. I’m personally involved in every build. That’s what you get right now that you won’t find at other AI agencies.
Stay weird.
